We have become the first company in the UK to add inline digital foiling to our Scodix having seen it in action at Graph Expo in Chicago. The results have to be seen to be believed. By combining Scodix with standard foil materials we will be able to add foiling to you printed materials without the need for blocks and time consuming set up associated with traditional methods. Personalisation and multiple versions using foil will now become a reality!
HP 10000 B2 Indigo press
We are extremely excited to have installed the HP 10000 B2 Indigo press. This now allows us to produce larger sized marketing material, has increased binding options available to our clients and made many of our projects more cost effective . All with the same high quality digital printing you have always got with Screaming Colour and HP Indigo.

We enjoyed a successful night at the Digital Printer Awards last week with three wins; Books, Creative Graphic Design on Digital Print and the distinguished Supreme Award. Thank you to all our clients for giving us the opportunity to work on so many exciting, creative, innovative projects.
These awards are testament to our continued investment in new technology, which ensures we can offer truly unique print and packaging solutions. This year we installed the MotionCutter and the Scodix Ultra, both of which add texture and visual impact.

We’ve spent a busy two days at Packaging Innovations 2014 exhibiting our print and finishing processes.
The event took place at the Business Design Centre in London and showcased companies that combine creative design and innovative technology to push branding to a new level.
Thank you to everyone who visited the Screaming Colour stand. It was great to see so much interest in our exciting new laser cutting and tactile printing finishes.

motion laser cutter
We have become the first UK printer to buy a Motioncutter high-speed digital laser cutter.
The machine has been installed at our London office and is ready for action! The sheet-fed device cuts, perforates and engraves in one pass. It also features Namecut technology which can personalise a sheet by reading a CSV file of data and cutting or engraving the information.

Screaming Colour has been awarded for its high quality and innovative finishing processes at the Print, Design and Marketing Awards 2014.
The awards ceremony took place aboard the Silver Sturgeon on the River Thames on Thursday 12 June. A record number of guests gathered to celebrate industry leaders in print, design and marketing.
The awards were judged on quality, creativity and innovation by a panel of independent industry experts. From hundreds of entries Screaming Colour were shortlisted in the Photobook category and won the Finishing award for a unique box and book set created for Ferrero.
Judges commented that the Ferrero piece “is extremely unconventional, we loved the surprise element. Complex finishing to get right across a significant run length with intensive hand finishing."

“Screaming Colour has invested £500,000 in new Kolbus packaging kit to enhance its specialist high-end presentation box manufacture. The DA 260 Casemaker and NM 100 grooving machine was installed at their Slough facility in the second week of March. The deal signals the first UK installation of the NM 100 router.
The firm, a multiple PrintWeek Award winner, specialises in creative print and packaging products with tight deadlines. Screaming Colour managing director Iain Moring said: “We’ll also use it for case binding books and any paper-over-board capabilities. A lot of what the machines will do for us, we’ve been doing by more manual methods previously, so the Kolbuses will give us increased volume capability, speed, quality and efficiency.”
